Foxconn, the Taiwanese manufacturer charged with assembling the iPhone and the iPad, reportedly had its email servers and Intranet breached yesterday. The hacker group responsible for the act calls itself Swagg Security and they refer to themselves as "hacktivists" of the "greyhat" persuasion. The group staged its attack in response to all the reports of poor and demeaning working conditions at the manufacturer's factories across China. After the hack, the group posted a lengthy message online explaining its actions:
Foxconn declined to comment on the attack, stating that the company "does not comment on matters of internal network security." Two service websites used by Foxconn's customers to place orders were down on Thursday. Read more -here-
