Aerohive Networks AP110

details: 802.11n Wireless Access Point
hardware type: Wireless Access Point
date added: 2012-08-20
updated: 2012-08-28
The AP110 can operate in either band - 2.4 GHz or 5GHz - providing the opportunity to use the less congested 5GHz band if the clients are all 5GHz capable. It supports 2x2 Multiple-In, Multiple-Out (MIMO) Radio providing wireless transmission speeds of up to 300Mbps. One Gigabit LAN port allows users to connect network devices to the AP.

This AP supports the feature-rich HiveOS service architecture. HiveOS is an implementation of Aerohive's Cooperative Control Architecture which enables multiple APs to organize into groups or "hives," that share control information enabling functions such as fast layer-2/layer-3 roaming, cooperative RF management, security and mesh networking without
requiring a dedicated system controller.
